2027 Judo Alberta Provincial Championships Bids Now Open
Judo Alberta is accepting bid applications from clubs interested in hosting the 2027 Provincial Championships. This is a great opportunity to showcase your club and contribute to the growth of judo in Alberta!
Key Information:
- Clubs must submit a completed bid package sent to judo@judoalberta.com by June 30, 2026.
- Event dates of April 10 & 11, 2026, or within one week before or after.
- The Executive Committee will review and announce the host by September 1.
Requirements Overview:
- Club and contact Information
- Suitable venue:
- Minimum 2–3 mats + warm-up area
- Seating for 200+ people
- Volunteers to run the event
- List of past hosting experience
- Referee and safety standards must be met
- Potential host hotel information
- Deceleration of optional souvenir items for participants
- Provide lunch for volunteers, referees, and coaches
- Any additional information to assist in the decision making process
