Create one now!<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d link to get started. It is recommended that the assistant work under the supervision of a certified Dojo Instructor. Assistants under the age of majority must work under the direct supervision of a certified Dojo Instructor.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prerequisites:\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Minimum age of 16.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Minimum rank of green belt with a working knowledge of the judo techniques included in the DA program as identified by the Judo Canada kyu syllabus.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sterling background check for all candidate coaches who are 18 years old and older via Sterling Agency \u2013 for details see:\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/pages.sterlingbackcheck.ca\/landing-pages\/j\/judo-canada\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">https:\/\/pages.sterlingbackcheck.ca\/landing-pages\/j\/judo-canada\/<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">OR equivalent if such checks are required by the Province\/Territory. In cases where the Sterling agency is not used for this service, results of the background check must be communicated to Judo Canada to NCCP@judocanada.org by the individual coaches or P\/T offices.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Successful online completion of the \u201cRespect in Sport for the activity leader\u201d e-learning module available at <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/judo-canada-al.respectgroupinc.com\/\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">https:\/\/judo-canada-al.respectgroupinc.com\/<\/span><\/i><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Note 1:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The background check and Respect in Sport modules may be completed after the course.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><b>DOJO INSTRUCTOR<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The \u201cInstructor\u201d course provides the participant with knowledge to instruct technical, physical, and mental, social and other aspects of judo.
