{"id":7938,"date":"2025-07-29T20:47:10","date_gmt":"2025-07-29T20:47:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/judoalberta.com\/?p=7938"},"modified":"2025-07-29T20:47:10","modified_gmt":"2025-07-29T20:47:10","slug":"nccp-competition-development-course","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/judoalberta.com\/index.php\/nccp-competition-development-course\/","title":{"rendered":"NCCP Competition Development Course"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Anyone wishing to advance their coaching to the next level should check out the Competition Development course coming September 12-14 in Burnaby, BC.\u00a0 \u00a0Please review the eligibility criteria below to ensure you qualify for the course.\u00a0 Candidates must complete prerequisite courses and be training provincial level athletes.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eligibility:<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Minimum age of 21.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum rank of Shodan with a working knowledge of the judo techniques included in the Judo Canada syllabus (up to and including Shodan).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Trained Dojo Instructor (or former level 2).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A letter of recommendation from the provincial\/territorial association stating that the participant works with developing competitors at the Provincial level, and meets the technical requirements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Completion of the prerequisites (see below) &#8211;\u00a0\u00a0Multisport Competition Development modules and online evaluations where required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Successful online completion of a \u201cRespect in Sport for the activity leader\u201d e-learning module available at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/judo-canada-al.respectgroupinc.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/judo-canada-al.respectgroupinc.com\/<\/a>\u00a0for all candidates who did not complete this module in the past.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Current, maximum 3 years old\u00a0 Criminal Background Check. If needed, available at:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pages.sterlingbackcheck.ca\/landing-pages\/j\/judo-canada\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u00bb Judo Canada (sterlingbackcheck.ca)<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prerequisites &#8211;&nbsp;<\/strong>MULTISPORT MODULES&nbsp; offered by Provincial Sport Organizations .
