{"id":6433,"date":"2021-09-20T14:53:59","date_gmt":"2021-09-20T14:53:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/judoalberta.com\/?p=6433"},"modified":"2021-09-20T14:54:11","modified_gmt":"2021-09-20T14:54:11","slug":"restrictions-exemption-program","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/judoalberta.com\/index.php\/restrictions-exemption-program\/","title":{"rendered":"Restrictions Exemption Program"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Hello Judo Alberta Members, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It has been a busy 24 hours,\nbut following the recent announcement of the Covid-19 update by the Government\nof Alberta, it was decided by the Judo Alberta Executive Committee that it is\nof the best interest for our membership to <strong>postpone all Judo Alberta\nsanctioned events until the \u201cAlberta State of Public Health Emergency\u201d is\ndeclared over<\/strong>. We will monitor the current situation closely and make\nadjustments as needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Starting <strong>September 20<sup>th<\/sup>,\n2021<\/strong> Judo Alberta will be following the <strong>Restrictions Exemption Program<\/strong>\nfor all sanctioned Judo Alberta events as outlined by the Government of Alberta\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.alberta.ca\/covid-19-public-health-actions.aspx\">https:\/\/www.alberta.ca\/covid-19-public-health-actions.aspx<\/a>.\nBetween now and September 20<sup>th<\/sup>, everything will be business as\nusual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>WHAT THIS MEANS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Starting <strong>September 20<sup>th<\/sup>\n2021, ALL<\/strong> Judo Alberta sanctioned events will enforce the following\nrestrictions in order for members ages 12 and over (coaches, athletes, staff,\nparents, volunteers) to attend\/participate:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>proof of vaccination<\/strong><ul><li><strong>single dose accepted between September 20 and October 25 if received 2 weeks before time of service<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>double  doses required after October 25<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>documentation of a medical exemption<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>proof of a privately-paid negative PCR or rapid test within 72 hours of service (tests from AHS or Alberta Precision Laboratories not allowed)<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>*It is recommended that\nall members access their records at <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/myhealth.alberta.ca\/myhealthrecords\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/myhealth.alberta.ca\/myhealthrecords<\/a>.\nMore details to follow regarding proof of vaccination processes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>MEMBERS UNDER THE AGE OF 12 GUIDANCE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Members under the age of 12 are permitted to train and\ncompete in Judo Alberta sanctioned events but must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>screen for symptoms<\/li><li>maintain 2 metres\n      distancing, except youth&nbsp;while engaged in physical activity<\/li><li>wear a mask, except\n      youth while engaged in physical activity<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>IT IS STRONGLY\nRECOMMENDED BY JUDO ALBERTA THAT ALL CLUBS FOLLOW THE RESTRICTIONS EXEMPTION\nPROGRAM.
