It may be the single most important training your leaders will receive to assist them in creating a safe, healthy and respectful environment for all participants!<\/p>\n<p>As a National sport\u00a0governing body, it is Judo Canada\u2019s mandate to ensure a safe environment for all judo programs delivered to our customers, most of whom are children and youth. Such a goal cannot be accomplished without co-operation from all provincial\/territorial judo associations, judo clubs and Judo Canada members to follow the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.coach.ca\/responsible-coaching-movement-s17179&amp;language=fr\">RESPONSIBLE COACHING MOVEMENT<\/a>\u00a0principles, as well as the offered \u201cRespect in sport\u201d online training courses:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/judo-canada-al.respectgroupinc.com\/\">RESPECT IN SPORT FOR ACTIVITY LEADERS<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/judo-canada-parent.respectgroupinc.com\/\">RESPECT IN SPORT FOR PARENTS<\/a>, and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/judo-canada-workplace.respectgroupinc.com\/\">RESPECT IN THE WORKPLACE<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A commitment from all our members to follow these training courses will ensure a higher and more consistent quality of our programs across the country, instill more confidence in parents entrusting their children to leaders of judo programs and consequently give our athletes a better chance to develop in a safe environment and reach a high level of performance.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Respect in Sport Activity Leader\/Coach Program\u00a0educates youth leaders, coaches, officials and participants (14-years and up) to recognize, understand and respond to issues of bullying, abuse, harassment and discrimination (BAHD).
