The model is also designed to help with healthy life-long sport participation.<\/p>\n<p>The LTAD model is an initiative of Sport Canada. A panel of world experts was brought together to create a generic model that was to be adapted by each sport ( see Canadian Sport for Life website). Disseminates information on theory and technical clinics by putting notices in the Newsletter.<br \/>\n2. Administers the annual approved budget for LTAD programs.<br \/>\n3. Sends copies of all correspondence to the Secretary.<br \/>\n4. Assists in making decisions on funding and participation in advanced training and education courses.<br \/>\n5. Submits short articles to Newsletter to encourage incorporation of the LTAD program into coaching and organizational planning.<br \/>\n6. Facilitates attendance at and planning for LTAD related clinics.<br \/>\n7. Delegate\u2019s logistical support to ensure that clinics run smoothly.<br \/>\n8. Prepare and submit a summary report for the Annual General Meeting.<\/p>\n<p>CONTACTS AND RELATIONSHIPS<br \/>\n1. Maintains contact with Judo Canada and Coaching Association of Canada in order to disseminate LTAD information.<br \/>\n2. Maintains contact with other provincial Judo Associations and Judo Canada in order to coordinate advanced training.<\/p>\n<p>AUTHORITY LIMITS AND EXPENDITURE LIMITS<br \/>\n1. Expenditures limited to the approved budget of LTAD Committee.<br \/>\n2. Must work within the schedule and priorities of Judo Alberta.<\/p>\n<p>KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONS<br \/>\n1. A current member of Judo Alberta.<br \/>\n2. NCCP Level II certified.<br \/>\n3. Enthusiasm for organizing people and materials.<br \/>\n4.
